CT Tech Positions



On-Call CT Technologist


I.   JOB SUMMARY

The CT Technologist (On Call) is responsible for safely and proficiently perform computerized tomography imaging procedures and related patient care according to, government regulations, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Imaging Department and the facility.

II.   QUALIFICATIONS

  • A graduate of a 2 year accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) required.
  • Must have and maintain M.R.T. registration with the Texas Medical Board.
  • Must have adequate CT experience and proven competence as determined by the Radiation Safety Officer
  • CPR Certification required

IV.   POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Follow all HIPAA policies and procedures
2.    Conduct studies in accordance with the law and company policy

X-ray Technologist


I.   JOB SUMMARY

The X-ray Technologist is responsible for safely and proficiently performing laboratory, general radiography related patient care according to, government regulations, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Imaging Department and the facility.

II.   QUALIFICATIONS

  • A graduate of a 2 year accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) required.
  • Must have and maintain M.R.T. registration with the Texas Medical Board.
  • CPR Certification required
  • Completed company provided laboratory testing course and competency

IV.  POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Conduct all radiology studies in accordance with the law and company policy
2.    Participate in any and all certification of the facility
3.    Follow all HIPAA policies and procedures
4.    Ensure that facilities are clean, well maintained and function in accordance with OSHA standards
5.    Help train all new staff to use the equipment, follow policy and procedures, know their duties, and become familiar with the work environment.
6.    Keep radiology suite clean at all times
7.    Assist in laboratory testing as needed
8.    Assist in patient care, to the extent that training and education allows.  This may include obtaining vital signs, bringing patients back, helping set up for procedures or other duties not usually performed by radiology technologists but that are within their scope of practice
9.    Other duties as needed

Front Office Receptionist


JOB SUMMARY
 
The front desk staff is responsible greeting patients with a smile, answering the phone, entering information into the database, and general clerical duties. In this position it is imperative you are able to consistently maintain a pleasant, professional demeanor and make patients always feel welcome. Ability to multi-task is a must.

QUALIFICATIONS
 

  • Familiar with insurances and insurance verification process.

  • Knowledge and skills regarding all general office equipment including computers, Microsoft Office, telephones, credit card machine, and fax.  

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and to prioritize multiple demands effectively

  • Exceptional communication skills and customer service is required

  • Solid work history

  • A minimum of 1-year experience in medical office setting is a plus

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • Greeting patients in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner both in person and over the phone

  • Checking patients in and out

  • Verifying patient insurance information from health care insurers and collect co-pay

  • Follow all HIPAA policies and procedures

  • Assist staff and patients with clerical duties as needed, including copying, scanning and faxing documents

  • Creating and maintaining patient files

  • Screens phone calls, and directs them to the appropriate individual. Take and direct messages as necessary

  • Confirm all paperwork is filled out correctly

  • Make sure front desk area, waiting room area and children’s play area is always clean and presentable

  • Assure a clean work environment. This may include duties often reserved for housekeeping services such as emptying trash, vacuuming,  mopping floors and cleaning counters

  • Follow all company policies

  • Encourage a work environment that is friendly and respectful

  • Provide patients and their family with a customer focused, friendly, reassuring and open environment that encourages patient to come back to Legacy ER

  • Other duties as needed
