All patients are treated by a board-certified emergency physician — not a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. Further, Legacy ER is child-friendly, and our staff physicians have worked in Dallas' recognized childrens' hospital emergency rooms.

Our state-of-the-art facility is fully equipped with an on-site laboratory and radiology suite for faster diagnosis and treatment. Simplified processes, including online check-in, make less work for patients and our staff. We even order prescriptions electronically before you leave to save an additional wait. If hospitalization is necessary, we arrange direct admission, usually bypassing the hospital ER. And we'll communicate with your personal physician for further follow-up.

Legacy ER is sensitive to your financial needs. We offer significant cost savings compared with hospital-based emergency rooms, due to our streamlined services, facility, and processes. We'll assist you with insurance filing and work with you to minimize your out-of-pocket costs. And, even though we offer both ER and urgent care services, we don't charge you ER rates for less-serious medical issues.
