Legacy combination urgent care and ER facilities give you access to in-house laboratories and X-ray services — without the lengthy time waiting for results. Instead, our prompt on-site lab allows us to offer you a same-day diagnosis. Our goal is always to provide fast, accurate medical reports and the information you need so you can get the right level of care.

Labs
Legacy ER & Urgent Care uses only the most advanced equipment to perform a full range of blood tests, keeping a short turnaround time for patients. Common in-house tests include strep, flu, COVID-19, urine drug screen, urine HCG, glucose and RSV.
CT Scans
A computerized tomography scan, also called a CT scan, is a type of imaging that uses X-ray techniques to create detailed images of the body. It then uses a computer to produce cross-sectional images, also called slices, of the bones, blood vessels and soft tissues inside the body. CT scan images show more detail than X-rays.
A CT scan can diagnose disease or injury and help diagnose medical, surgical or radiation treatment.
Our health care professionals may suggest a CT scan for many reasons. For instance, a CT scan can help:
- Diagnose muscle and bone conditions, such as bone tumors and breaks, also called fractures
- Show where an infection or blood clot is
- Guide procedures, such as surgery, biopsy and radiation therapy
- Find injuries and bleeding inside the body that may happen after trauma

EKG
It’s essential to diagnose and treat heart problems before they become life-threatening. At Legacy ER & Urgent Care, we can offer an immediate diagnosis for patients with heart issues through our on-site EKG testing.
We use EKG machines as a key diagnostic tool for heart-related complaints. Using these machines, we can diagnose certain heart conditions and monitor patients with known heart diseases and at risk of heart attacks. EKG machines also help our health care providers make informed decisions about treatment, which may include a hospital stay or medications.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound, also called sonography, shows the structures inside the body. The images can help guide diagnosis and treatment for many diseases and conditions.

X-ray
You may be most familiar with X-rays for checking for broken bones, but our Legacy team uses X-rays in other ways. For instance, chest X-rays can spot pneumonia.
Covid-19
If you think you may need to be tested for COVID-19, visit a Premier ER + Urgent Care location. You don’t need an appointment. A doctor or nurse practitioner will evaluate you during your visit. Our staff may suggest you have a rapid COVID-19 test with real-time results.
You’ll also want to contact your insurance plan to see if you’re eligible for a cost-sharing waiver and have COVID-19 testing and treatment coverage.
